Our field coodinator for Kumba Mrs Ekoi Sylvia was today involved in teaching teens the effects of poor plastic waste disposal at makati-Kumba. She told them how plastics take years probably a thousand to get decompose and by so doing certain substance are released into the soil which goes a long way to affect soil fertility.

It is worth noting that hunger and food shortage is seriously affecting our community. Hence the adverse effects of poor plastic waste disposal is a call for concern in our makati-Kumba neighborhood which shares boundary with the Kumba main Market.
